1. Read and meditate in God’s Word daily.

Reading the Word of God will keep your mind of those immoral things you think about on a neutral ground and make you think about things above. Check Joshua 1:8.

2. Change those who you associate with.

There is a saying that show me your friends and I will tell you the kind of person you are.

Those who you associate with will define you and determine how far you go and grow.Detach yourself from those corrupt friends that are ready to keep you sinning.

3. Change what you listen.

What you listen to has the ability to control your thoughts.Ensure that you listen to godly messages, music and spiritual chants.

4. Seek counsel.

Don’t just seek counsel but seek godly counsel. Godly counsel will help you to be free from that immoral act if truly you yield to instructions.

5. Do not be idle.

There is a saying that an idle hand is the devil’s workshop.Don’t be idle.

Engage yourself and find something doing so that you won’t have time to think about that ungodly act.

6. Control what you feed your eyes with.

Please what is that thing that do caught your attention most of the time?

Is that thing able to build your spiritual life or increase your flesh desires?

Please, who are your friends and fans on the social media?

What is the essence of those friends and fans that keeps you doing that which you are struggling not to do anymore?

9. Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren.

The gathering of the brethren is another factor that can save you from that addiction.

Biko, relate with brethren that can be of help and not those one that will confuse you the more (the wolf in sheep clothing).

10. Self determination.

If truly you want to be free from that addiction.

Be determined! Be positive!

You have to be determined from within you and do things rightly.
