Foods That Are Best Skin Lightening Agents When Used On Your Skin
A healthy, lighter and brighter skin is the goal. We spend so much on our skin, buying different products for the skin, just to achieve that goal. Sometimes, these products work perfectly well on us, and other times the chemical used on most of these products are so harsh, that they end up, giving us some skin damages, no wonder most of us, have turned to using natural products. Though most natural take time before you start seeing visible results, but if used continuously, they work perfectly well.
Of recent I discovered a natural products, actually it’s a food we love eating, that works so well on the skin, I decided to give it a try and the results, where amazing.
Potatoes are starchy foods, enjoyed by most homes, they are not just nourishing to the body, but also highly nourishing to the skin.
Because of certain properties, it contains, it is one of the best lightening skin agents. Potatoes contains catecholase which fades off dark spots and lightens the skin.
Other benefits of potatoes are;
1. Gets rid of dark circles.
2. Removes dark spots.
3. Eliminates wrinkles.
4. Fades off sunburn.
5. Removes dead skin cells.
How do you use potatoes on the skin?
Get an Irish potato, peel and wash it.
Using a grater, shred into tiny bits.
Add a little water to the grated potatoes.
Sieve out the water from the potato.
In a clean plate, put in 3 tablespoon of the potato juice.
Add 1 teaspoon of tumeric and stir properly.
Next add a tablespoon of flour, and stir thoroughly.
Add the remaining potato juice to the mixture and mix properly.
Apply to the body and leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
This should be used at least 3 times a week, for good results.
